What personal information do we process? When you visit, use, or navigate our website, we may process personal information if you voluntarily fill out a “Contact Us” or “Stay Connected” form and click Submit.
Do we process any sensitive personal information? We do not process sensitive personal information, only name, email address, phone number for inclusion in our private database which is used solely for sending information directly involved with Jefferson County Democrats. Our website automatically collects meta data about every visit as is common with every public website created using WordPress. Meta data is anonymous information about your internet ip address, browser name, operating system and other technical, non-personal information.
Do you receive any information from third parties? We receive information from public databases, (VAN, Idaho Secy of State), Idaho Democratic Party, social media platforms, and other outside sources such as sign-up lists at public events.
How do you process my information? We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our website, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your expressed consent. We process your information only when we for the purposes of sharing Democratic events and issues.
In what situations and with which types of parties do we share personal information? We may share information with the Idaho Democratic Party to update their public databases. No information whatsoever (name, address, email, phone) will be shared with or sold to any third parties for marketing/promotional purposes.
How do we keep your information safe? We have organizational and technical processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.
